How did you get in to roller derby? Honestly, I saw it on an episode of Psych… I played rugby in college, figured derby is *kind of* like rugby, at least as far as the aggression goes, so it seemed like a good fit. Besides, I already had a mouthguard.
How did you hear about the Big Easy Rollergirls? I met a retired skater, Jas Lounge, at Finn’s! I asked about BERG, she mentioned they were doing pre-clinic tryouts the following week, and the rest is history.
What else do you want your fans to know about you? Sorry ’bout the profanity during the bouts, it’s nothing personal!
What is your life like outside of derby? A SPONTANEOUS WHIRLWIND OF ADVENTURE!
Just kidding, that sounds horrible; I’m a homebody. When I’m not at the warehouse or working at my very cool job (no, really, it’s the best), I’m likely wallowing on the couch with my dogs or foster pig, pantslessly eating snacks and bingeing on Netflix.
I’m all about that life.
