How did you get in to roller derby?
I saw berg in muses year after year but never felt capable enough to accomplish something like that. One year I thought about trying out, but never thought I would survive the training. One of my closest friends was diagnosed with cancer, and watching her fight that battle is what gave me the motivation I needed to train harder, being ever thankful for the healthy body I had. I still think of her often when I’m training and it keeps me going
