How did you get in to roller derby? When I was living in California, I was looking for a new workout routine. I had done circuit training, CrossFit, running, biking and weight lifting but I would lose interest. My coworker suggested roller derby. I google searched roller derby and found Sonoma County Roller Derby on Facebook. I hit up the local roller rink and started skating with SCRD as Fresh Meat that week.
How did you hear about the Big Easy Rollergirls? I moved to New Orleans for nursing school in 2014 and watch the Crescent Wenches bout in July. I signed up for Rec’N Krewe at their info table that night.
What else do you want your fans to know about you? I’ve met the most amazing people after joining Big Easy Rollergirls 🙂
What is your life like outside of derby? I work full time as an RN at Touro Infirmary. I enjoy skating and biking around Uptown and Mid City. I love visiting my extended family in Baldwin and Lafayette.
