Oct . 13, 2006 : Big Easy Rollergirls Announce Second
Donation Drive for the LA/SPCA October 21, 2006 6-9 p.m
The Big Easy Rollergirls, New Orleans’ only all-female, flat-track
roller derby league, will present its second bout of its inaugural
season on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World in
Algiers Point. The doors open at 6 p.m., the action starts @ 7 p.m.
This month’s battle is a spooky Halloween-themed showdown between
the Carries and the Rinkwraiths.
At this bout the Big Easy Rollergirls will be taking donations for
the LA/SPCA. Please visit www.la-spca.org/wish-list.htm
for their wish list. In appreciation for their donation, patrons
will receive a free drink ticket.
