McDonogh #32 is a charter school under the umbrella of the Recovery School District and the Algiers Charter Schools Association.  It serves children in the Algiers neighborhood from pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. 

The faculty and staff at Mc32 are working hard this year and for the future to turn a new leaf for the school and the neighborhood by giving every child who attends the opportunity for a stellar education (making 800 DeArmas the address of excellence!).  A majority of students at the school qualify for free or reduced lunch and, like so many children in New Orleans, they are still recovering from the upset in their education brought on by Katrina and Rita. 

In order to make sure that all students get the most from their education, teachers often dip into their own pockets to buy supplies so that their students can succeed.  Even the simplest things (pencils, paper, tissues) can be hard to come by and get costly over time!  The students and staff and McDonogh #32 have compiled the following list of supplies that are always in demand for successful students hitting the books.  And of course, many thanks from the McDonogh #32 Golden Eagles!
