The Rinkwraiths were formidable, but could not surpass the wrath of the vengeful Carries at the second bout of the Big Easy Rollergirls, which was held Oct. 21 at Mardi Gras World. The bloody prom queens defeated the dark and powerful overlords 80-70 in suspenseful and gruesome roller derby action.

Comedian Ph Fred and Ian McNulty emceed, along with surprise special guest announcer Mistilla "the Killa" of the Houston Roller Derby. Music was provided by all-girl rock band Manwitch and DJ U-Gene. Ruthie the Duck Girl threw gore-riffic throws to lucky audience members.

Audience members were invited to help the LA/SPCA by bringing donations from their Wish List.
