New Orleans Roller Derby!
Louise Ze Animal
sec. 1983

Louise Ze Animal.jpg

Louise was hatched into a cozy, warm nest in the comfortable environs of uptown New Orleans. She was soon released into the mean wilderness of Hammond, however, where it was necessary to perfect survival tactics to ward off n’er-do-wells who sought to tame her. She became Louise Ze Animal. To survive, she developed lightning-quick reflexes, a keen wit, and a healthy sense of outrage toward all trappings of conformity and injustice. Ultimately Ze Animal took her struggle against authority national, roaming from the mountains of Colorado to the hills of Tennessee, always leaving befuddled authority figures in her tracks. It cannot be said for sure, but it is probable that her instincts led her back to her mother city of New Orleans because she smelled prey... in the form of derby skaters. Finally, Ze Animal has returned to New Orleans, to continue her rabblerousing and freedom fighting in her homeland! By day, Louise Ze Animal fights The Man. By night, she fights women on wheels.
